The Company was formed because the Directors believe that infrastructure is an attractive asset class with sustainable long-term income and capital gropwth potential as many governments and public authorities are inviting the private sector to fund, own and operate new infrastructure projects.

Investors in public companies have, to date, had few opportunities to invest in a portfolio of public or social infrastructure investments. The Company provides investors with such an opportunity and draws on Babcock & Brown’s track record, resources and network to manage the existing portfolio of assets and to source future assets in order to provide ongoing income and captial growth for investors.
